Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and facilitating recreational activities for residents

• Lead group and individual activities that promote socialization and engagement

• Create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all participants

• Provide one-on-one assistance to residents as needed

• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress

• Collaborate with staff to tailor activities to residents’ individual needs

• Encourage resident participation and promote a positive quality of life

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in healthcare, recreation, activities, or a similar setting preferred

• Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff

• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.
