Admissions Assistant

Admissions Assistant/Reception: $20-25/hr. 

The Bostonian Rehab & Nursing Center (Dorchester, MA) is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Admissions Assistant/Reception 16 hours/week to support the admissions process at our skilled nursing facility! 

Responsibilities:

• Welcome prospective residents, patients, and families with professionalism and compassion

• Complete admission paperwork and admission packets with residents, patients, or responsible parties

• Provide facility tours for prospective residents, families, and referral sources

• Maintain accurate admission documentation and records

• Support the admissions process from inquiry through admission

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations

• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and business office teams to facilitate smooth admissions

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

• Professional phone etiquette and strong organizational abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous admissions, customer service, healthcare, medical records, or long-term care experience preferred

• Proficiency with basic computer systems and office software
