Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional support and counseling services to residents, families, and staff to promote emotional well-being and coping skills
• Assist social workers in conducting assessments and developing plans to meet residents' social and emotional needs
• Develop and implement individualized interventions to address residents' mental health concerns
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
• Participate in staff education and training programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry standards

As a Social Work Assistant at Morristown Post Acute, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and their families. Our state-of-the-art center features a newly renovated TCU Unit with telemetry care and a dedicated subacute floor with mostly private suites. You will work closely with our dedicated staff to provide individualized care and support to individuals facing cardiac, orthopedic, renal, or pulmonary issues.
