As a temporary Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

About the Role:

• As a Director of Nursing (Temp), you will oversee the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

• You will work closely with our nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor resident progress, and make adjustments as needed.

• Your leadership skills will be essential in mentoring and coaching our nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

• You will also collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement programs and services that enhance the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including medication administration, wound care, and resident assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Monitor resident progress, identify areas for improvement, and make adjustments to care plans as needed.

• Mentor and coach the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement programs and services that enhance the overall well-being of our residents.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a leadership role

• Current RN license in the state of New York

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of geriatric care
