Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at West Chicago Living and Rehab Center Llc. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our facility, ensuring a healthy and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain patient and resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces

• Restock supplies and linens as needed

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and ironing patient and resident clothing and linens

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, as well as stand and walk for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Ability to maintain a high level of patience and professionalism in a fast-paced environment

• Basic knowledge of infection control and sanitation procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior housekeeping experience preferred
