About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper (Afternoon Shift) to join our team at Birchwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Cranford, New Jersey. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our patients' rooms, while also contributing to the overall quality of care and customer service we provide.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of quality and safety

• Perform tasks such as laundry, bed making, and trash disposal in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure that all areas are clean and tidy

• Work closely with our nursing and support staff to ensure that patient needs are met and exceeded

• Participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move around the facility with ease
