Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Cook and Aid to join our team! As a key member of our Dietary Department, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals and snacks to our residents and staff. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning the preparation of foods, liquids, and dietary methods

• Demonstrate knowledge of seasoning, cooking time required, and characteristics of various cuts of meat, poultry, fish, grains, fruits, and vegetables

• Maintain a clean and sanitary food preparation environment, adhering to all food safety regulations

• Lift up to 50 pounds, as needed

• Collaborate with the Food Service Supervisor and Administrator to ensure smooth operations of the Dietary Department

  Work Schedule:

  Sunday:12p.m-8p.m

  Monday: 5am-1p.m

  Tuesday: OFF

  Wednesday: OFF

  Thursday: 5a.m-1pm

  Friday: 12p.m-8p.m

  Saturday: 12p.m-8p.m

Requirements:

• 1 year of cooking experience required

• Food service and sanitation license and/or certification required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
