About the Role:

As a DON at Newark Rehabilitation, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and support. Your duties will include:

• Leadership and Operations: Directly supervise and mentor a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

• Quality Improvement: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

• Staff Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.

• Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with other departments, including therapy, social work, and administrative teams, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies governing our nursing department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Current RN license and CPR certification
