Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and nutrition guidelines

• Ensure that all food is served at the correct temperature, and presentation is appealing

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety regulations

• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed

• Collaborate with the dietary department to plan and execute special events and holiday meals

• Develop and maintain a rapport with residents, families, and staff members

• Participate in menu planning and culinary activities to enhance resident dining experiences

• Additional duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 2 years experience in food service or a related field

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
