Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Toms River, NJ

Ameriwell Care is seeking an experienced, energetic, and dependable Direct Support Professional to support an active young man living in Toms River.

Location: Toms River, New Jersey
Hours: 32–40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday through Friday, beginning at 8:00 AM sharp

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is active, engaging, and interested in helping the individual enjoy meaningful experiences while developing greater independence.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany participant around the community for activities, events, walks, shopping, and recreational outings

• Work on life skills, independence, and community participation

• Provide safe and reliable transportation to community locations

• Assist with health-related devices and follow care instruction

Qualifications:

• Active, patient, responsible, and dependable

• Comfortable spending most days participating in community activities

• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and safe driving record
