Job Summary:

Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a compassionate and dedicated healthcare organization, is seeking dedicated and caring Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our team! As a HHA/PCA, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians and update associated documentation

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene

• Provide vital sign measurements and record vital signs as ordered by providers

• Assist residents with exercises, oxygen equipment, and ostomy care as needed

• Perform administrative tasks, such as completing necessary forms and reports

• Participate in facility surveys and inspections as required

• Provide personal assistance and respond to call bells or signaling calls

• Assist with activities, mealtime, and resident orientation

• Notify supervisors of any changes in resident status or medical needs

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all facility policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Current and valid HHA Certificate or PCA

• At least 18 years of age

• Ability to read, understand, and follow resident care plans

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to resident locations (if applicable)

Benefits:
