Job Summary

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Lions Rehab Center, a 101-bed skilled nursing facility located in Cumberland, Maryland. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will provide direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). Our team is dedicated to delivering quality care to each of our residents, and we are looking for a motivated and compassionate PTA to join our family.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans, provide patient education, and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under direction of the supervising PT

• Chart appropriately and timely

• Utilize therapy software accurately

• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients

• Assist in the evacuation of patients

• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance

• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment

• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program

• Currently registered/licensed in Maryland

• One (1) year experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail
