Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Hiawatha Care Center is actively hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care that promotes resident comfort, dignity, and independence. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting residents with activities of daily living while working closely with the nursing team to deliver exceptional care. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will help create a safe, welcoming environment where residents receive the highest quality of care.

What We Offer

Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour

Additional Pay

• Eligible for an additional $5 per hour worked on Saturday and Sunday (Weekend Bonus)

Schedule and Employment Type

• Full-Time or Part-Time Days (6AM - 2PM), Evenings (2PM - 10PM), Nights (10PM - 6AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team

• Document resident care accurately and timely

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Current state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Long-term care experience preferred but not required
