About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Vice President of Dining to lead and oversee dining operations across multiple luxury senior living communities throughout Florida and Tennessee. This individual will be responsible for driving culinary excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing financial performance, and fostering a culture of innovation and hospitality. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for elevating the dining experience and developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Unit Oversight: Provide strategic leadership and operational support to dining departments across multiple communities throughout the Florida and Tennessee region.
Financial Management: Oversee P&L performance for all dining operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all communities maintain full compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, including AHCA and Department of Health standards.
Team Development: Recruit, mentor, train, and develop culinary and dining leadership teams to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.
Staff Training: Design and implement comprehensive training programs, including food safety certifications, service standards, and operational procedures.
Innovation & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute creative dining concepts, menu enhancements, and programming strategies to elevate the resident experience and drive revenue.
Pre-Opening Support: Lead dining operations planning for new community openings, including kitchen design consultation, equipment procurement, menu development, staffing, and training during the construction and pre-opening phases.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits, audits, and assessments to ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, service, and sanitation standards.
Collaboration: Partner with executive directors, marketing teams, and corporate leadership to align dining services with overall community and brand objectives.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts and/or Hospitality Management
Multi-unit management experience in dining or food service operations
Luxury senior living experience with a deep understanding of resident-centered dining
ServSafe Instructor and Proctor Certification
Demonstrated P&L management experience with a track record of financial accountability
Proven ability in regulatory compliance within senior living or healthcare dining environments
Pre-opening and construction experience, including kitchen buildout and operational launch
Strong team building and staff training experience
Technology proficiency, including Point of Sale Systems, Scheduling Software, Financial Software, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
Overnight travel up to 50%
Preferred
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential
Multi-language skills — English, Spanish, and/or Creole highly valued
Experience developing innovative strategies to increase sales and revenue
