Laundry Assistant

Touchpoints at Chestnut is hiring for a full-time Laundry Assistant.

Summary:

The primary role of the Laundry Assistant is to collect and sort soiled linen and clothing, load and unload machines, and fold clean linen and laundry.

Responsibilities:

• Performs variety of tasks such as collecting and sorting soiled linen and clothing, loading and unloading machines, and folding clean linen and laundry.

• Count linen processed daily and make deliveries to assigned areas. 

Qualifications:

• Must be able to clean clothing and facility linen.

• Must be able to operate computerized washers and dryers and understand how these machines work.

• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language clearly and understandably.

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

• Some previous experience in Healthcare industry. (preferred)
