Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Companion to join our team at Upscale Home Care. As a Senior Companion, you will play a vital role in empowering veterans and seniors to thrive in the comfort of their own homes, in the San Tan Valley area. Our bespoke care approach focuses on delivering high-quality, dignified support that prioritizes the unique needs of each individual. Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to veterans and seniors in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, medication reminders, and other tasks as needed

• Develop strong relationships with clients, their families, and caregivers to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, medication administration, and other relevant information

• Collaborate with our clinical team to identify and address client needs, ensuring seamless care coordination

• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, empathy, and compassion when interacting with clients, families, and colleagues

• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• 1 year of experience in a healthcare or social services setting

• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)

• Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
