Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Garden Park Care Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing leadership team. This is a Monday-Friday position with participation in an on-call rotation. We are looking for a nurse who enjoys supporting staff, maintaining strong clinical standards, and helping create a positive environment for both residents and employees.

Responsibilities

• Support the DON with day-to-day nursing operations

• Provide leadership, guidance, and education to nursing staff

• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and employee performance

• Help maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

• Participate in surveys, audits, quality improvement, and clinical initiatives

• Monitor resident care and documentation

• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training nursing staff

• Participate in the nursing leadership on-call rotation

Requirements

• Active Ohio nursing license in good standing

• RN preferred

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience

• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
