About the Weekend Cook Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Weekend Cook to join our Greenridge Place Memory Care team. As a Weekend Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious meals to our residents, including those with dietary restrictions and special needs. Your attention to detail, creative culinary skills, and warm demeanor will help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve weekend meals for residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Follow recipe cards and dietary guidelines to ensure compliance with resident needs

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards

• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to plan and prepare special events and activities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff

• Maintain accurate records of meal preparation and inventory management

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1+ years of cooking experience in a senior living or healthcare setting

• Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
