Dietary Director

CareCore at Willowood is seeking an experienced and dependable Dietary Director to lead our dietary department. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about providing quality food service and creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department

• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff

• Ensure meals are prepared and served according to resident needs and dietary requirements

• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility food service regulations

• Monitor food quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards

• Manage food and supply ordering, inventory, and department expenses

• Collaborate with Nursing and other departments regarding resident dietary needs

• Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation

• Prepare the department for surveys and ensure continued regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Previous dietary management or supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting

• ServSafe Manager Certification preferred

• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements

• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills

• Ability to effectively manage and develop a dietary team

• Experience with healthcare food service is strongly preferred
