Weekend Overnight Direct Support Professional 9 PM to 9 AM

Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) for weekend overnight shifts in Amherst, Ohio. The selected caregiver will provide attentive support and help maintain the client’s comfort and safety throughout the night.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the client’s safety and well-being throughout the overnight shift

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as needed

• Provide toileting, mobility, and transfer assistance when required

• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan

• Respond promptly to the client’s overnight needs

• Perform light housekeeping and prepare simple meals or snacks

• Document services and observations accurately

• Report changes in the client’s condition or any concerns

• Follow the client’s care plan and all company policies

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for the client to appointments, errands, and community activities when needed.

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving, DSP, home care, or overnight care experience preferred

• Experience supporting seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for the client to appointments, errands, and community activities when needed.

• Dependable and able to remain awake and attentive throughout the shift

• Patient, compassionate, and professional

• Ability to pass required background checks

• Availability for weekend overnight shifts from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM

Pay: $16–$18 per hour

Location: Amherst, Ohio

Schedule: Weekend overnight shifts, 9:00 PM–9:00 AM
