Direct Support Professional Monday to Friday 2 PM to 9 PM

Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking a reliable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide quality care and support to an individual in Amherst, Ohio. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Provide medication reminders

• Support the client with mobility and safe transfers, when needed

• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities

• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition

• Complete required care documentation accurately and on time

• Follow the client’s care plan and all company policies

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for the client to appointments, errands, and community activities when needed.

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving, DSP, home care, or related experience preferred

• Experience supporting seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred

• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation

• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional

• Ability to pass required background checks

• Ability to work the full Monday–Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Pay: $16–$18 per hour

Location: Amherst, Ohio

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–9:00 PM
