Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Companion Care Aide to join our team at Comfort Touch Health Agency. As a Companion Care Aide, you will provide non-medical care services to seniors in the comfort of their own homes, including companionship, socializing, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and running errands. Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and social support to seniors in their homes, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, playing games, and watching movies
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Help with medication reminders and appointment scheduling
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions
• Use own transportation to travel to client locations
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client needs

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience and guidance provided
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak English
• Own transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform light physical activity
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Dementia experience

Availability:

We have part-time and full-time availability for this position, with opportunities to work in Mount Sinai, NY.

Full-Time hours: Thursday 1p-9p, Friday 9a-9p, Saturday 9a-9p, and Sun 1p-9p

Part-Time hours: Sunday 9a-1p, Monday 9a-1p, Wednesday 9a-1p, and Friday 9a-1p
