Dispatch Supervisor

Position Summary 

Lifeline Ambulance is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor Assistant to support the Regional Manager across Michigan and Illinois dispatch operations. This position helps oversee and coordinate the operations of the dispatch team, supporting efficient communication, timely logistics, and smooth day-to-day operations while assisting with staff performance and compliance. The role supports documentation compliance and performance tracking, and requires sound judgment, consistency, and the ability to work closely with the Regional Manager to keep dispatch operations running`` smoothly across both regions. 

Responsibilities 

• Support daily dispatch coordination, including logistics and scheduling 

• Serve as the first point of contact for issues originating from dispatch, escalating to the Regional Manager as appropriate 

• Monitor and help enforce documentation and compliance standards 

• Assist with dispatch staff performance tracking and data entry 

• Support onboarding and training of new dispatch staff 

Qualifications 

• Must be in good standing in their current role 

• Demonstrated reliability and consistency in job performance 

• Sound judgment in determining when to resolve an issue directly versus escalating to the Regional Manager 

• Ability to support dispatch operations across both Michigan and Illinois 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
