About the Role

As a Personal Caregiver at SYNERGY HomeCare of Tyler, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our clients. You will provide personal care services that promote independence, dignity, and well-being, while fostering meaningful relationships with our clients. Your dedication and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, according to client needs and preferences

• Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry

• Promote client independence by encouraging and supporting their ability to perform daily tasks

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

• Document client information and progress, as required

• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain current knowledge and skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with seniors , preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients, as needed

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
