Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Elizabeth Park Rehabilitation and Nursing LLC in Elizabeth, New Jersey. As a Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, leading and motivating a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the overall success of our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide exceptional patient care and promote a positive work environment

• Develop and implement unit-based policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility standards

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and treatment programs

• Conduct regular rounds and assessments to ensure quality care and identify opportunities for improvement

• Provide leadership and guidance to staff members to promote a culture of excellence and continuous learning

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and perform quality initiatives reporting

• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and community stakeholders to ensure a positive and supportive environment

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a current NJ license

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting

• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
