Resident Support Specialist – Psychiatrist Team (Social Work / Case Management / Counseling background welcome)

Maximize Health is hiring a Resident Support Specialist to work alongside a psychiatrist supporting residents in assisted living facilities across Queens and the Bronx. Open to candidates from mental health counseling, case management, or social work backgrounds — no clinical license required.

Full-Time | Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM | No Weekends | $70,000–$75,000/year

What You'll Do

• Support the psychiatrist during resident evaluations and follow-up visits

• Conduct wellness check-ins and one-on-one supportive conversations with residents

• Build simple, individualized support plans and track resident progress

• Help residents and families connect with community and healthcare resources

• Coordinate with facility staff, families, and the care team

• Step in during crisis moments and connect residents to the right next resource

• Keep documentation current in the EMR

What You Bring

• Background in social work, case management, mental health counseling, or related human services (no license needed)

• Some college or relevant human services experience preferred

• Experience with seniors, assisted living, or behavioral health settings a plus

• A warm, patient personality — people trust you fast

• Comfortable with EMR documentation

• Valid driver's license and reliable car (travel between Queens and Bronx facilities required)

This is a support and coordination role, not clinical therapy.
