PRN Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Part time/PRN Physical Therapist to join our team at Seaside Health System in Baton Rouge, LA.

Schedule: Part-time 2-3 days per week- 2 to 3 hours per day.

Offering competitive Rates and Flexible hours. Fantastic position for therapist looking to supplement hours or work part time.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans

• Provide prescribed treatment plan

• Run exercise groups for patients

• Assess patients need for equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers

Qualifications:

• Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Successful completion of National Certification Examination

• Valid PT license in the State of Louisiana

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment:

• This job operates in a health care setting, requiring regular walking to various locations around the care center

• Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and infection from patients and specimens in the working environment

• Incumbent may be required to work extended periods of time at a video display terminal

• Incumbent may experience traumatic situations, including psychiatric and deceased patients
