HR Assistant Experience or Degree Required

Title: HR Assistant

Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00am to 4:30pm

*This is an in-person position based in Mandeville, Louisiana. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to the start date. Please note that relocation assistance is not available.*

About the Role

We are seeking an upbeat, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in a behavioral health environment. This role supports the full employee experience, helping ensure employees are set up for success so they can focus on providing kind, compassionate, and quality-centered patient care.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities for new hires

• Track background checks, drug screens, and required verifications

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records

• Support compliance documentation and employee file organization

• Assist with orientation preparation and HR administrative support

• Serve as a first point of contact for HR visitors and inquiries

• Partner with the HR Team & Payroll to support leaders and staff

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 3+ years of recent HR experience or a Bachelor's degree in HR required.

• Healthcare experience preferred but not required
