Aventura at Humility House is hiring compassionate and dependable Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to join our Assisted Living team!

Available Shifts

• Full-Time: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Assisted Living

• Part-Time: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Assisted Living

Position Summary

The Medication Technician is responsible for safely assisting with medication administration while providing compassionate care and support to our residents. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications as permitted by applicable regulations and facility policies.

• Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.

• Follow medication schedules and physician orders.

• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.

• Maintain accurate medication records and follow medication-storage procedures.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other care team members.

• Follow infection-control and safety procedures.

• Promote resident dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.

• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous experience working as a Med tech in assisted living, long-term care, or a healthcare setting

• Medication Technician/Medication Aide certification as required by applicable regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
