Position Details

• Location: Wilmington, Ohio School District

• Schedule: School-day hours (aligned with student schedules)

• Pay Rate: $15–$20 per hour

• Employment Options: 1099 or W-2

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Student Aide / Transporter to support students within the Wilmington, Ohio School District. This position is responsible for ensuring students safely and appropriately get to and from scheduled therapy sessions during the school day.

The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive to detail, comfortable working with students, and committed to providing a safe and supportive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm that you have the correct student before providing transportation or escort services.

• Escort the assigned student to and from scheduled therapy sessions.

• Ensure students arrive at their therapy sessions on time.

• Maintain awareness of the student's location and safety throughout the escort process.

• Follow school district procedures and any applicable instructions regarding student safety and supervision.

• Communicate professionally with school staff, therapists, and other appropriate personnel.

• Maintain reliability and consistent attendance throughout the school year.

• Protect student privacy and maintain appropriate confidentiality.

• Report any concerns, incidents, or issues involving the student to the appropriate contact.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

• Reliable transportation.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to interact professionally and appropriately with school-aged students.

• Ability to follow directions and school/district procedures.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly when identifying and escorting the correct student.
