We are seeking a Housekeeping Director to lead our housekeeping team and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department

• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff

• Establish and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility

• Develop and maintain housekeeping schedules and cleaning assignments

• Ensure resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility areas are properly maintained

• Monitor inventory and order housekeeping supplies as needed

• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning products and equipment

• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and sanitation standards

• Conduct regular inspections and address areas requiring improvement

• Respond promptly to resident, family, and staff concerns

• Maintain required documentation and department records

• Work closely with other departments to support overall facility operations

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience required

• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience preferred

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
