Director of Rehabilitation – Nursing Home

Located in Albion, NY

An elegant long-term care, skilled nursing facility located near Medina, NY is looking for a compassionate and professional Director of Rehabilitation.

The Responsibilities of the Director of Rehabilitation:

• Ensure that all rehabilitation personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care.

• Support the development and implementation of rehabilitation department budgets in coordination with the facility administration.

• Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs and procedures.

• Function as a leader for the rehabilitation department; maintaining regulatory compliance for therapy services and documentation.

• Function as a liaison between the rehabilitation department, nursing department, residents, families and facility administration to ensure the highest quality of resident care.

Job Requirements:

• Must have New York PT, OT, or SLP License

• Must have prior experience as a Director of Rehabilitation in a nursing home/long-term care setting

• Must have excellent leadership skills

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
