As an Evening Shift LPN at Magenta Health at Daytona, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to our patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including administering medications, wound care, and injections
• Assess and report patient conditions to the healthcare team, including vital signs, pain levels, and emotional status
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medication administration and treatment outcomes
• Develop and implement individualized patient education plans, promoting independence and self-care
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in the state of Florida
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care setting; acute care experience a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients as needed; ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent walking and standing
