Physical Therapist Assistant

Mountain View Rehab and Senior Living is seeking a flexible and compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services based on resident needs and individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, balance, and functional mobility

• Implement individualized treatment plans

• Monitor resident responses and communicate progress to the supervising PT

• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation

• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary rehabilitation staff

• Promote resident safety and independence

• Provide quality, resident-centered care during scheduled PRN shifts
  

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in the applicable state

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Previous skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently while following established treatment plans

• Flexible and dependable approach to PRN scheduling

• Passion for helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals
