About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As an OTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement personalized therapy plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the development and implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans

• Providing direct patient care, including exercises, activities, and interventions

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care for our residents

• Adhering to established protocols and standards for occupational therapy services

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a post-acute care setting

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify resident needs and goals

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these needs and goals

• Implement occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and modalities

• Document resident progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information

• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team, residents, and families
