Safe and Sound Home Care is a family-owned business dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home. Our professional caregivers work one-on-one to assist clients with a variety of needs, including personal hygiene care, great companionship, meals, nutrition, and more. We are seeking dedicated, energetic, and ethical caregivers to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.

• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.

• Assist with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor's appointments and walks.

• Plan and prepare meals.

• Complete client shopping or accompany them on errands.

• Perform housekeeping duties.

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.

• Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal preparation, including serving and other tasks as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to continuously learn new skills.

• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Demonstrate a validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.

• Be available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.

• Have prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).

• Be willing to enforce safety standards.

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, or experience as a caregiver.

• Take pride in providing high-quality care.
