Rockaway Home Care is looking for caring, reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to support clients in their homes throughout Nassau County, New York.

With clients across the county, we're looking for HHAs in Hempstead, Levittown, Mineola, Freeport, Port Washington, Massapequa, Long Beach, Inwood, and surrounding Nassau County areas.

Work Where It Works for You

What Does an HHA Do?

You'll provide one-on-one support in a client's home, which may include:

• Personal care and hygiene assistance

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Assistance with activities of daily living

• Mobility support

• Meal preparation

• Medication reminders as permitted

• Light housekeeping related to the client's needs

• Companionship

• Reporting changes in the client's condition

• Completing required documentation

• Following the established plan of care
  

Qualifications

• Current New York State HHA Certificate

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Reliable and compassionate

• Strong communication skills

• Commitment to providing respectful, quality care

• Previous home care experience is helpful but not required
