About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. As a PTA, you will work closely with our physical therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to our residents. Your expertise will help our residents regain strength, mobility, and independence, ultimately improving their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists with treatment plans and interventions

• Perform physical therapy modalities and exercises

• Conduct daily assessments and treat residents as needed

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care and treatment

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies

• Current Florida Physical Therapy Assistant license

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care
