Key Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate inventory of medical, nursing, and facility supplies

• Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute supplies to appropriate departments

• Monitor inventory levels and prepare orders as needed

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with routine inventory counts

• Ensure supplies are properly stored, labeled, and rotated

• Monitor expiration dates and remove expired or damaged supplies

• Communicate with vendors and assist with deliveries and supply discrepancies

• Keep the central supply area clean, organized, and secure

• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies when handling and storing supplies

• Work closely with nursing and other departments to ensure supply needs are met promptly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in healthcare, inventory, central supply, or a similar role preferred

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage inventory effectively

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift, move, and organize supply boxes and materials as needed

• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently

• Knowledge of medical supplies and skilled nursing facility operations is a plus
