Activity Aide

CareCore at Mary Scott is looking for an energetic, compassionate Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our team! If you enjoy working with seniors, bringing people together, and creating a fun and engaging environment, we’d love to meet you.

Schedule:

10:00am-4:00pm, 4 days weekly with an every-other weekend rotation.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with daily recreational and social activities

• Encourage resident participation and engagement

• Help plan games, crafts, events, celebrations, and group activities

• Spend one-on-one time with residents as needed

• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activities

• Work closely with the Activities Director and other departments

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience supporting residents with dementia and memory-related conditions is required

• Compassion and patience when working with seniors

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Long-term care or activities experience is a plus, but not required

• Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
