Tamarac Center is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to join our leadership team. We’re entering an exciting new chapter focused on clinical excellence, resident care, and staff support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and daily operations during assigned weekend shifts

• Supervise and support nursing staff and make daily assignments

• Ensure quality resident care and accurate nursing documentation

• Monitor compliance with facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations

• Assist with resident assessments and care planning

• Address staff, resident, and family concerns appropriately

• Ensure adequate medications, medical supplies, and equipment are available

• Report concerns and significant events to the Director of Nursing

• Promote staff education, training, and professional development

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:

• Current, active Florida RN license in good standing

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, restorative, or geriatric settings

• Minimum 1 year of nursing supervisory or management experience

• Current CPR certification

• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical judgment skills

• Must meet all applicable Florida licensing and certification requirements
