What You’ll Do

• Complete repairs, construction-type projects, and servicing of equipment according to manufacturer instructions, facility policies, and under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor

• Ensure equipment and utilities are maintained in good working order and facility grounds are properly maintained

• Conduct preventative maintenance as assigned, including facility logs such as water temperature, call lights, generator, and fire alarms

• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and professional manner

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a long-term care facility or larger institution (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to respond to emergencies and be on-call as needed

• Good working knowledge of state rules and regulations

• Ability to relate positively to residents, families, and team members

• Positive Can-Do Attitude and excellent attendance
