Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing unit, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident

• Lead and manage a team of skilled nursing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to promote excellent care and teamwork

• Collaborate with other departments, including rehabilitation therapy, dietary, and social services, to ensure comprehensive care for residents

• Conduct periodic assessments and evaluations of resident care, making recommendations for improvement as needed

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and resident-centered care

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing setting, with a focus on managerial or leadership roles

• Proven track record of effective leadership and team management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
