About the Role:

As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the overall operations of our Social Services Department. Your duties will include overseeing the Medicaid process, completing MDS assessments, and providing leadership and guidance to our Social Services Department staff. You will work primarily during daytime hours, with occasional evening and weekend visits as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the overall operations of the Social Services Department

• Oversee the Medicaid process

• Complete MDS assessments and support the admissions process

• Provide leadership and guidance to the Social Services Department staff

• Work primarily during daytime hours, with occasional evening and weekend visits as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or program of Social Work

• 2+ years of social work experience, ideally in a long-term care setting

• Energetic, results-oriented team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills

• Self-motivated, caring approach, with passion for working with elderly and behavioral residents
