We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Flushing Health Care Center in Flushing, Michigan. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, demonstrating empathy, patience, and a caring approach.

Shifts Available:

• Full-time and part-time days (6am-6pm)

• Full-time nights (6pm-6am)
  

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct assessments, follow protocol, report medical or behavioral changes, and document findings
• Perform admission duties: complete assessment, MAR, TAR, POS, review chart set-up, physician orders, and order medications
• Manage discharges: complete documentation, notify physician and guardian, and arrange transportation
• Provide wound care: follow protocols, irrigate, pack, and remove dressings
• Lead CNAs and CMTs, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and policies
• Respond effectively to emergency situations

Requirements:

• LPN license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
