We're seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily care and services to residents in our Supportive Living Facility. As a CNA at Allure of Zion, you'll be part of a family-like culture that values dignity, respect, and comfort for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) according to care plans
• Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, and weight
• Record food and fluid intake and report changes in eating habits
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, transferring, and transporting residents
• Provide care to residents with mental health conditions, psychosocial needs, or history of trauma
• Assist non-diabetic residents with nail care (hands and feet) as permitted
• Routinely check residents to ensure personal care needs are met per their wishes
• Observe and report skin changes, pressure areas, or breakdowns
• Collect specimens as instructed (urine, stool, sputum, etc.)
• Assist nursing staff with admissions, transfers, and discharges

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Illinois)
• CPR certification required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to work independently with integrity and professionalism
• Ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and support agencies

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds and transport items up to 50 feet
• Ability to meet the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the position

Schedule: Every other weekend

Hourly Rate: $20 HOURLY
