As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their highest level of independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address cognitive, physical, and emotional needs

• Conduct occupational therapy sessions with residents, focusing on activities of daily living, cognitive rehabilitation, and sensory integration

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication

• Document resident progress and treatment plans in accordance with organizational guidelines

• Adapt to changing situations and priorities, while maintaining high-quality care and services

Requirements:

• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTAS)

• Current registration with the Nevada Board of Occupational Therapy

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or related field preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
