Server (Health Center)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives both gracious and efficient service. 

SCHEDULE

• Full Time and Part Time Available

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties are normal for this position.  This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive.  Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Perform established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives gracious and efficient service.

• Practice good time management skills to ensure efficient table turnover.

• Handles and serves food in accordance with all HAACP guidelines and sanitation standards.

• May operate cash register and point of sale software.

• Other roles and responsibility as assigned by the Dining Room Manager.

• This position is an essential worker position. It is required that candidates are available to work during inclement weather and other high-priority events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

• No experience necessary.

• High school diploma or GED - preferred

• Desire to work with an older population in an Assisted Living and Long-Term Care facility.

• Ability to push a cart full of trays/meals to the different floors and residence areas.
