CNA Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include:

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility

• Assist with resident transfers, admissions, and discharges under the direction of nursing staff

• Assist nurses with treatments and resident care as directed

• Support restorative and rehabilitation programs with appropriate instruction and supervision

• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team

• Protect resident privacy, dignity, and rights

• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents

• Work cooperatively with nurses, other CNAs, and members of the interdisciplinary care team

• Follow facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines

• Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and professionalism

• Perform other duties as assigned

CNA Qualifications

• Current, valid Florida CNA license required

• Current CPR certification

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Dependable, punctual, and compassionate

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and respond appropriately to resident needs

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.
