Job Summary:

Aspire Senior Living Jonesburg, a skilled nursing facility in Jonesburg, Missouri, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. With a passion for providing exceptional care to our residents, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality personal care services in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for our residents

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to established food safety and sanitation standards

• Collaborate with our dietary team to plan and implement meal programs, taking into account resident preferences and dietary needs

• order and receive food and supplies, accurately managing inventory and minimizing waste

• Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and production

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a healthcare or food service setting preferred

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
